okay, so I haven't posted a "monday's moment" for quite some time. I just got off the phone with my cute lil' sis and I was laughing so hard I had to share this with you all.
One night Chrissy had a little goldfish friend waiting on the porch for her- we've yet to figure out why they left it or even who left it. It just had a note about taking good care of the fish....so she did- well, she tried. It lived for a while, it even had a cute name- "fish". She left for school one day and saw that the water was so dirty but didn't have time to change it. So when she got back home she attempted the change. While transferring the fish from one container to the other it slipped and landed in the sink... half way down the drain! I can totally imagine her freaking out, because I totally would too, about how to get this fish out of the drain and back into some water. Well, to make a long story short (or really, a short story long, because I ramble...) She barely grasped the little guy and he slipped down the drain. Thank goodness we know all drains lead to the ocean and "fish" can go be friends with Nemo.
*Note: I said I was laughing hard, and I realize now that makes me sound like an evil fish killer (or something of the sort). I like fish, I really like fish. I don't want to see fish hurt and I usually don't laugh to hear about their deaths either. So I am sorry for all you other fish lovers out there who did not get a smile out of this- but come on, just imagine seeing a fish half way down the drain and the other half flappin' his little fins in your sink. Sad... yes I know. But I think we're a little over populated in the fish department anyways...
